Routine Check-Up
A Check up allows your dentist to see if you have any dental problems and helps you to keep your mouth healthy.

During your check-up, our dentists will perform a thorough examination of your teeth and gums. We will also check the health of your tongue, throat, and other oral structures. If necessary, we may take x-rays to get a better look at your teeth and jawbone.
After the examination, we will discuss any findings with you and recommend any necessary treatment. This may include a routine cleaning, fillings, or other procedures to address any issues we find.

It is advised to visit the dentist every 3-6 months.
Keep Your Smile Healthy with Regular Dental Check-Ups
The Importance of Regular Dental Check-Ups
At Broadlands Dental Surgery, we believe that regular dental check-ups are crucial for maintaining good oral health. During your check-up, our experienced dentists will examine your teeth and gums for any signs of decay, gum disease, or other issues. We may also take x-rays to help identify any underlying problems that may not be visible during the exam.
Regular check-ups can also help prevent more serious dental problems from developing. By catching issues early and addressing them promptly, we can help you avoid more extensive and expensive treatment down the line.
How Often Should You Schedule Dental Check-Ups?
We generally recommend scheduling a dental check-up every three - six months. However, some patients may need to come in more frequently if they have certain risk factors for dental problems, such as a history of gum disease or frequent cavities.
